Speedbird Inn is a 202 bedroom hotel just 350m from Aberdeen Airport. We are seeking an enthusiastic Operations Manager to join our team

We are looking for a professional and experienced Operations Manager to join our team, who will provide a friendly welcome and efficient customer service to our guests. This is a multi-skilled, hands-on role which will involve overseeing a variety of tasks within various departments. This includes guest relations, supporting the reception team by assisting with check-in and check-out, housekeeping and food & beverage service. The Operations Manager will work closely with the General Manager and support the Heads of Department in the daily operation of the hotel. There is a requirement to deputise in the absence of the General Manager. This is a responsible role, which involves assisting with the management of team members across all departments. It also involves taking responsibility for the Human Resources function, including recruitment, ensuring that personnel files are up to date and facilitating Company Induction. This role assumes overall responsibility for training to ensure that it takes place across the hotel and training records reflect this, health & safety training is included. It will also involve dealing with employee relations issues effectively on a timely basis. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who has the ability to balance operational demands with mandatory requirements. Duty Management shifts will be scheduled on a rota basis and will include weekend work
