Bar and Restaurant Manager

Reference: SPE/Flying Club Mgr

You have experience of managing a high volume bar and restaurant operation
You are great with customers
It is evident that standards matter to you, however, you're also able to lead your team to deliver standards professionally in an informal environment
You build a team of enthusiastic people and keep them motivated

You're able to teach inexperienced bar and restaurant attendants how to be excellent at what they do, build their confidence and make sure that they understand why, not just how
You're motivated by a selling culture and you have an ability to get those working for you just as motivated by selling as you are
You're an organised leader - things happen at the right time, by deadlines you're expected to meet, and your team have the right tools to do their jobs
You understand liquor controls
You don't mind hard work
You deal with people with honesty, integrity and without drama, calmly looking for solutions not problems
You are rightly proud of what you can do and where you have worked

What do you get in return?
You'll be paid a competitive salary of 23,000 a year, an annual bonus when you achieve your targets, and 28 days holiday a year

You run the business, reporting to the Speedbird Inn's General Manager. You will have support when you need it, with personal development to help you be as effective as you can be. You'll have a uniform and your breaks are paid, with a meal on duty. Complimentary car parking is also available

Hours: 40+ hours per week (5 days from 7, at times when you best influence how the business operates)

Salary/Hourly rate: £23,000 per annum
