Whatever the time of year, this beautiful area offers a wealth of sporting and unashamedly indulgent pursuits - all within very easy reach of the Speedbird Inn.

Lovers of the great outdoors can tour the Castle Trail, Victorian Heritage trail or Grampian Coastal Trail. Or go biking and rambling. They can sample the Water of Life on Speyside’s famous Whisky Trail, land a bargain in Aberdeen’s exclusive shops or fish for sea trout and salmon in our challenging rivers. A huge variety of shooting to choose from and a great restaurant to tell tales at!! And with the Sands of Forvie on our doorstep, and the Loch of Strathbeg RSPB Reserve close by, this is heaven on earth for ornithologists - as well as for wintering grey geese, and eider duck.

And of course there is golf!
